We are seeking a Specialist Procurement L3 to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in MRP/ERP-driven purchasing, subcontract management, and contract negotiation and a proven ability to secure critical components and services on schedule while maintaining compliance with FAR and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Procure critical-path components and services to support organizational and manufacturing needs.
- Manage subcontracts for assigned suppliers and commodities and act as liaison to Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Program teams.
- Create and issue contracts, including FFP and T&M, lead supplier selection, perform cost/price analysis, fact finding, and formal negotiations.
- Ensure adherence to delivery schedules and conduct proactive supplier follow-up to meet required dates.
- Review and negotiate terms and conditions and evaluate agreements such as End User License Agreements.
- Interpret and apply component specifications and requirements in sourcing decisions.
- Maintain documentation control in compliance with FAR and company procedures and policies.
- Perform audits of PO files and documentation, including peer file audits.
- Actively participate in departmental and enterprise improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional purchasing experience in an MRP/ERP-driven manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement negotiations and supplier management.
- Contracting knowledge, including terms and conditions and procurement agreement management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of engineering documentation and product configuration.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
