Locums Critical Care Physician Assistant in Hershey, Pennsylvania - No Call, Advanced Cardiac ICU

Manage complex cardiovascular critical care patients on 13-hour shifts with no call and hands-on exposure to advanced mechanical circulatory support.


Highlights

Practice & Cases


  • Adult inpatient cardiovascular critical care with approximately 8-12 patients per shift
  • Manage ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant patients
  • Responsibilities include rounding, admissions, order entry, and postoperative management
  • Procedures include arterial and central lines, Swan Ganz catheter management, and IABP removal

Schedule


  • Three 13-hour shifts per week
  • Day and night shifts available
  • Nights, weekends, and holidays are included in the rotation

Requirements


  • Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Board Certified in Critical Care
  • Active Pennsylvania license required
  • ACLS and BLS required
