Make an impact supporting the success and communication development of K-12 students in a dynamic school setting near Fort Worth, TX! A full-time contract opportunity awaits for passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) ready to provide hands-on support in an on-site role. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and make a difference for approximately 60-65 students at a single school campus.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLPA license required
- Experience working with school-aged (K-12) children preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English candidates highly valued
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress tracking
- Ability to work independently within a team environment
- Must complete or verify fingerprint background check through TEA (may take up to 10 business days)
Responsibilities:
- Implement speech therapy interventions under the direction of a supervising SLP
- Support students with diverse speech and language needs in group and individual settings
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records following district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote generalization of learned skills
- Participate in team meetings regarding students’ educational plans
- Assist with IEP development and data collection as needed
Role Details:
- Contract dates: August 10, 2026 through May 21, 2027
- Full-time assignment: Up to 37.5 hours per week, standard school hours
- On-site position only (not open to virtual/remote work)
- Likelihood of supporting a single campus with a K-12 student caseload
