\nThe Role\n
As Managing Veterinarian, you’ll balance clinical practice with leadership, mentorship, and strategic oversight. You’ll partner closely with hospital leadership to ensure consistent medical standards while fostering a positive, accountable, and collaborative environment.
\n\nMedical Leadership\n

- Provide oversight of medical and surgical cases \n
- Establish, uphold, and evolve medical protocols and standards of care \n
- Support continuity of care across doctors \n
- Guide diagnostics, treatment planning, and client communication \n
- Ensure the hospital remains inspection-ready at all times \n
- \n
- Mentor and support associate veterinarians \n
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and performance development \n
- Partner with leadership on training, CE tracking, and licensure \n
- Promote a respectful, team-first culture \n
- \n
- Support efficient workflows and operational improvements \n
- Encourage client education, compliance, and patient visits \n
- Participate in hospital initiatives and community engagement \n
- Help guide the practice through an upcoming leadership transition \n

\nThe Ideal Candidate\n
- \n
- DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary school \n
- Active Arizona license (or ability to obtain) \n
- 5+ years of clinical experience \n
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills \n
- Passion for mentorship, collaboration, and culture-building \n
- Commitment to practicing high-quality, ethical veterinary medicine \n
