- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer and submit a DOT inspection report detailing its condition.
- Verify the bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour deliveries.
- Operate the tractor-trailer to the destination, utilizing knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skills for maneuvering on the road and at customer locations.
- Maintain a driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
- Unload the trailer and deliver products to customer premises.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possess a valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL-A).
- Have a minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Must meet our organization’s MVR and risk rating standards.
- This role requires the ability to read, write, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely, including understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and essential communications.
