Job Description
The staff nurse is tasked with delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout their lifespan. This role involves utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse operates within the established policies and procedures of the organization, showcasing professional development and accountability. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining high standards of nursing practice.
- Coordinating patient care activities among all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services.
Completion of an accredited nursing program.
Minimum Experience RequiredNew graduates from a nursing program are welcome to apply.
Licensure and Certification Requirements- Possession of a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or a valid NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- For PRN roles, a preference for candidates with at least one year of nursing experience in a hospital environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
- Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area is advantageous, if applicable (refer to addendum).
