You’ll work full-time, engaging with children aged 5-11, helping them develop essential communication skills in a vibrant school community. Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education teams to create a supportive environment that fosters each child’s growth and success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active SLP license
- GaPSC SLP Educator Certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school-based SLP position strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Compassion for children and a patient, enthusiastic approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to students on your caseload
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address each student’s unique needs
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of student progress and interventions
- Work alongside teachers, administrators, and family members to ensure holistic support
- Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and parent conferences as needed
