ResponsibilitiesKEY DUTIES INCLUDE:
- CT Technologists focus on utilizing ionizing radiation to create cross-sectional images that assist healthcare professionals in diagnosing and treating patients.
- They conduct diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations following established protocols under the supervision of a Radiologist.
- CT Technologists deliver patient care across all age groups, including neonates, children, adults, and the elderly.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or a JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Certification from the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Current BLS certification is required.
PREFERRED: At least 6 months of experience as a Radiological Technologist.
