About the Location

Downey is a city rich in culture, history, and community spirit. Positioned as a gateway between Los Angeles and Orange Counties, it offers residents a peaceful, family-oriented atmosphere while providing easy access to various attractions and social activities in both counties.

Working Environment

At our Downey location, we cultivate a culture of teamwork and collaboration, emphasizing safety for both patients and caregivers. Our leadership promotes accessibility and maintains a flat organizational structure, fostering trust between physicians and support staff. Innovation is a key focus; for instance, Downey was the first medical center in the area to conduct same-day total joint surgeries. We also prioritize efficiency, continually enhancing workflows throughout the medical center and ancillary offices. Additionally, we emphasize wellness—both physical and mental—by offering regular opportunities for dining, socializing, and exercising together. With a high level of tertiary care, one of the largest NICUs in the region, and a full physician staff in OB and anesthesia, Downey is committed to providing outstanding service to a diverse and high-risk patient population.
