School Occupational Therapist | Corrales, New Mexico

This contract opportunity runs from now through May 28th, providing essential services to a vibrant caseload of 40-50 elementary and secondary students. With a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, you'll have the opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in a collaborative, student-centered environment—helping children and teens develop critical life and learning skills.

Preferred candidates bring strong experience in school-based OT, home health, and healthcare settings. Previous experience with educational environments is a plus, but not required. This position is ideal for occupational therapists passionate about making a difference in the academic and daily lives of their students.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active or eligible for NM RLD license and NMPED license
• Preferred: previous experience in educational, healthcare, or home health OT
• Ability to manage a diverse elementary and secondary caseload
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement OT interventions for a caseload of 40-50 students
• Collaborate with educators, families, and school staff
• Develop IEP goals and document student progress
• Provide therapy across both elementary and secondary grade levels
• Ensure compliance with state and school district guidelines
