An opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist seeking to gain unique clinical expertise and serve diverse patient populations within a travel role based in Arizona. This 13-week travel assignment offers exposure to comprehensive pharmaceutical care in an innovative healthcare environment serving Native American communities.
Location:
- Northwestern Arizona – Tuba City Regional Health Care area
- Diverse cultural setting serving Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute tribes
Schedule & Shift:
- 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
- Work week: Wednesday through Tuesday
- Hours: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–9:00 PM, Saturday & Sunday 8:00 AM–7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services to patients across neonate to geriatric age groups including oncology and obstetrics
- Deliver direct clinical pharmacy services in inpatient and outpatient departments
- Participate in rotational shifts covering days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Administer policies and procedures aligned with organizational mission
- Provide technical and administrative supervision to pharmacy staff including pharmacists, technicians, and assistants
- Contribute to program development to ensure high standards of care
- Opportunities for advancement to Advanced Practice Pharmacist levels with enhanced clinical and managerial responsibilities
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education
- Current, valid, unrestricted pharmacy license in any U.S. state or territory; Arizona license not required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum two years’ experience as a Registered Pharmacist
- At least one year of clinical pharmacy experience
- Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance prior to start
