Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist within Ingham County. Two dedicated OTs are needed—one for a full-time position and another for part-time—to serve a diverse caseload of K–12th grade students, starting this September. While the specific school placements will be finalized by the district, both roles ensure you’ll have the chance to make a powerful impact across Ingham County.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current, active Occupational Therapy license in Michigan (required)
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric OT services preferred
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, caregivers, and educational teams
  • Ability to manage a caseload spanning elementary through high school students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ functional needs and strengths within the K–12 environment
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to foster students’ participation and success in the school setting
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support teams to integrate therapy goals with educational objectives
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes according to district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights that support student growth
