Key Qualifications:
- Valid PEL (Professional Educator License) with a School Psychologist endorsement required
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school environment preferred
- Comfortable working with a range of grade levels, from PreK through 8th grade
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred but not required
- Strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver individualized recommendations for students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and behavioral needs
- Participate actively in the development and implementation of IEPs, serving as a resource for best practices in educational interventions
- Support crisis intervention and serve as a key member of response teams as needed
- Facilitate group and individual counseling to foster student growth and well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and compliance with state and federal regulations
