Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – CCU (Critical Care)Job Overview:

The role of the CCU Registered Nurse (RN) involves providing exceptional nursing care to patients by:

  • Employing strong organizational and leadership abilities to evaluate patient conditions.
  • Identifying and prioritizing patient issues and needs.
  • Executing clinical nursing interventions for patients requiring intensive medical attention.
  • Creating and implementing patient care plans aimed at enhancing health outcomes.
  • Maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Conduct and assess initial and ongoing patient evaluations, develop care plans, implement treatments, and assess their effectiveness.
  • Integrate and prioritize information to take immediate, evidence-based, patient-centered actions using clinical judgment.
  • Anticipate and confidently respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
  • Administer medications safely in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Certifications:
    • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) or ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (preferred at hire; must be obtained from an approved source before direct patient care; ACLS required within 6 months of hire).
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification (preferred at hire; required instead of BLS/ACLS for Pediatric Units; must be obtained from an approved source before direct patient care).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience (required).
    • 6 months of RN experience in Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department (preferred).
Compensation:

Salary Range:
Minimum: $34.33
Maximum: $54.93
