Must Haves
- 2 years of experience with biomedical engineering or similar field supporting
- Previous experience working in a hospital/clinical environment
- Ability to work independently in a fast‐paced clinical setting
Plusses
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical or Electrical Engineering
Day-to-Day
The Biomedical Equipment Technician I is responsible for performing basic maintenance, inspections, repairs, and safety testing on a variety of medical equipment used throughout the hospital. This role works closely with clinical staff to ensure equipment is operating safely and effectively to support patient care. BMET I technicians typically focus on preventive maintenance and routine troubleshooting while developing technical expertise under the guidance of senior technicians.
Compensation:
$39/hr to $49/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
