• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or related certifications are preferred

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting teachers in classroom management and reinforcing lesson plans
• Supervising and supporting students individually or in small groups
• Implementing strategies to promote positive behavior and academic engagement
• Helping prepare instructional materials and classroom resources
• Supporting students with special needs in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), as necessary
• Assisting during transitions, lunch, recess, or other activities to ensure a safe and productive environment
• Providing feedback on student progress to teachers and contributing to a collaborative team approach
