School Occupational Therapist - Aurora, Illinois

This full-time opportunity offers a supportive work environment for a skilled OT who enjoys working with diverse student populations. You’ll spend 37.5 hours per week throughout the full school year, serving elementary and high school students across two nearby locations. The manageable caseload ensures you have time to provide high-quality care and collaborate closely with teachers in both resource and general education settings.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Illinois
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings
• Understanding of sensory integration techniques, with the ability to incorporate these into individualized goals and progress documentation
• Strong communication and organizational skills for effective collaboration with staff and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic interventions to students in resource and general education classrooms
• Develop, implement, and track individualized educational plans (IEPs) in coordination with school teams
• Assess students’ needs, document goals, and report on progress regularly
• Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
• Travel between two school sites as needed (local travel only)
