Job Summary:

\n

In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, theAssociate Veterinarian is an invaluable member of the hospital team who worksdirectly with a Managing Doctor and supports the medical staff. This individualadvances the quality of medicine in the practice and provides exceptionalclient service to our clients and patients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build rapport with clients by listening to theirconcerns.
    • \n
  • Perform high-quality examinations and procedureswhile minimizing patient stress.
    • \n
  • Communicate with clients about pet diagnosis,treatment plans, and health care.
    • \n
  • Maintain accurate medical and surgical recordsand logs.
    • \n
  • Stay updated on new veterinary information andpractices.
    • \n
  • Assist in developing the paraprofessional teamfor quality care and service.
    • \n
  • Promote a positive image of the hospital to thecommunity.
    • \n

Skills and Basic Qualifications:

    \n
  • Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMAaccredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification programor the PAVE certification program
    • \n
  • DVM Licensure in good standing to practice in Texas
    • \n
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard ofmedicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics
    • \n
\n
