About the Location

Downey is a city rich in culture, history, and community spirit. Positioned as a gateway between Los Angeles and Orange Counties, it offers residents a peaceful, family-oriented atmosphere while providing easy access to various attractions and social activities in both counties.

Working Environment

At our Downey location, we cultivate a collaborative and team-oriented atmosphere, prioritizing safety for both patients and caregivers. Our leadership promotes open communication and accessibility, fostering trust between physicians and support staff. Innovation is a key focus; for instance, Downey was the first medical center in the area to conduct same-day total joint surgeries. We also strive for efficiency by enhancing workflows throughout the medical center and ancillary offices. Wellness—both physical and mental—is a priority, with regular opportunities for socializing, dining, and exercising together. With a high level of tertiary care, one of the largest NICUs in the region, and a dedicated OB and anesthesia team composed entirely of physicians, Downey provides outstanding service to a diverse and high-risk patient population.
