Description The Project Manager - Federal/Commercial Interiors - NoVA will: Manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction turnover through closeout. Oversee subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Develop, maintain, and update project schedules while proactively identifying risks and opportunities. Lead RFI management, submittal tracking, change order administration, and project documentation. Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, cost-to-complete analysis, and profitability reporting. Collaborate with field teams to ensure schedule, quality, and safety objectives are achieved. Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout project execution. Coordinate project activities across geographically dispersed job sites and travel as needed. Manage multiple concurrent projects, typically ranging from $2.5M to $5M in value. Support successful delivery of secure facilities, executive office buildouts, corporate interiors, conference centers, federal projects, and workplace renovations. Profile The Project Manager - Federal/Commercial Interiors - NoVA will have: Proven experience managing commercial construction projects independently. Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, cost controls, and profitability management. Experience building, updating, and managing construction schedules. Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, subcontractor management, and project documentation. Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or comparable construction management software. U.S. Citizenship required. Experience with commercial interiors, tenant improvements, renovations, or secure facility projects preferred. OSHA 30 certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
