Job Description
An Ambulatory Infusion Pharmacist position is available in Denver, CO, supporting oncology and infusion patients in an outpatient setting. This contract role starts on August 31 and will last 13 weeks, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying orders, preparing, and dispensing both hazardous and non-hazardous medications for oncology and infusion patients. The position requires attention to detail and familiarity with ambulatory infusion pharmacy workflows to ensure safe and accurate medication management.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience; candidates should not be first-time travelers
- Current Colorado pharmacist license in-hand
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Strong knowledge of hospital outpatient and oncology pharmacy practices
