This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist position in a specialized retail HIV/AIDS pharmacy located in Orlando, FL. The role is a 16-week contract starting on 8/24, including a two-week training period with the current pharmacist-in-charge (PIC). The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily pharmacy operations independently at a single-pharmacist site with no technician support
  • Accurately dispense HIV/AIDS medications, handling a volume of approximately 20-30 prescriptions per day
  • Provide a high level of patient care and maintain strong communication with patients and healthcare providers
  • Follow detailed training and support protocols provided by the client to ensure compliance and quality service

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Florida pharmacist license is required
  • Minimum of one year experience working in a retail pharmacy setting
  • Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications must be clearly indicated on the resume
  • Prior experience with QS1 pharmacy software is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage workflow in a technician-less environment
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to punctuality and reliability

  • No return-to-office (RTO) exceptions allowed during the contract period due to the single-pharmacist staffing model; candidates must confirm availability for the entire duration
