Per Diem Retail Pharmacist - Cleveland, Utah

This per diem opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with retail experience looking to work flexible shifts in a fast-paced environment. The position is based in Cleveland, UT, and involves supporting a well-staffed retail pharmacy team, ensuring efficient and accurate prescription processing.

Location: Cleveland, UT
Schedule/Hours:

• Weekdays: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Upcoming shifts: August 21 and August 22

Environment: Retail pharmacy with moderate prescription volume (75 to 100 prescriptions daily)
Staffing: 1.5 pharmacists and 3 pharmacy technicians
Order Entry System: Pioneer RX (technicians handle order entry, pharmacist oversight required)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and dispense medications in compliance with state regulations
• Provide professional consultation and counseling to patients regarding their prescriptions
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and other staff to maintain workflow
• Ensure all pharmaceutical practices prioritize patient safety and quality of care

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Utah pharmacy license is mandatory
• Previous retail pharmacy experience required
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX is advantageous but not necessary
