School Psychologist in Bristol, CT

Two contract opportunities are available for dedicated school psychology professionals to make a positive impact in educational settings. These onsite positions are scheduled for 35 hours per week at two local schools, supporting students from August 2026 through March 2027 and October 2026 through January 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid Connecticut School Psychologist License (required)
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred
• Demonstrated skill in student evaluation, consultation, and intervention planning
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
• Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to diverse educational environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students’ academic and social-emotional needs
• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to address a range of learning and behavioral challenges
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for individualized student planning
• Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote a healthy, supportive school climate
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
