Occupational Therapist School Setting - Phoenix, AZ

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from preschool through 8th grade as an Occupational Therapist. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid state licensure and certification for Occupational Therapy
• Experience working within school environments, preferably with a range from preschool to middle school
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
• Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptable, resourceful, and enthusiastic about working with diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with a variety of needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insightful recommendations for accommodations and interventions
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate therapy strategies into daily activities
