Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student communication and learning as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist. This role is perfect for an SLP-CCC ready to make a difference for students in grades PK through 8th. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 1st, 2027, offering a consistent two-day-per-week schedule (14 hours weekly) at a single campus.

In this position, you'll serve as the only Speech-Language Pathologist on site, giving you the autonomy to tailor therapeutic interventions and collaborate closely with school staff to meet each child’s unique needs. The caseload focuses on resource therapy for students from pre-kindergarten up to 8th grade, supporting their success across academic and social settings.

Preferred qualifications and requirements include:

  • Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Florida
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric clinical setting strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently while integrating with multi-disciplinary teams
  • District credentialing, including fingerprinting (can often be expedited if already in the ACHA Clearinghouse)

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to assigned students in PK through 8th grade
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education and therapy plans
  • Conduct speech and language assessments and maintain accurate documentation
  • Serve as a key collaborator with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Shape a nurturing and inclusive environment throughout the academic year
