IU Health Arnett Physicians has a full-time employment opportunity for a Medical Physicist to join their established Radiation Oncology clinic located in Lafayette, Indiana.
\nEmployment opportunity Details:

- Full-Time, Out-patient \n
- Days (Mon-Fri) with no call responsibilities however the candidate must have ability to work occasional weekend for QA work \n
- Possible to work remotely one day a week. \n
- Strong collaboration with physicians, therapists, Advanced Practice Providers and clinical staff \n
- Practice is ACR accredited. \n

Our team includes 2 MDs, 1 FNP-BC, 2 full-time physicists (this posting for one of the vacant positions), 2 PRN Physicists, 3 full-time remote dosimetrists, and 7 Radiation Therapists.
\nEquipment/platforms: 2 TrueBeam linacs with HyperArc, 4D CBCT, iCBCT, and Identify each. One TrueBeam also has Calypso. GE 4D CT with RGSC, Bravos HDR (SAVI, GYN, skin applicators), Eclipse/ARIA, RadCalc, 3D-printed bolus, SNC Machine, SRS Mapcheck, SNC Dynamic Platform.
\nKey Responsibilities:

- This position provides a full range of physics services to Radiation Therapy, involving, but not limited to, calibration, dosimetry, treatment planning, Quality Assurance, research and development. \n
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
\n- \n
- Requires board certification by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Radiological Physics. \n
- Requires Indiana State Licensure as Physicist in Radiation Oncology. Please visit ISDH website for licensing requirements. \n
- Requires MS or PhD in medical physics; physics; radiation biology or a related discipline or a combination of education and significant comparable experience in radiation therapy. \n
- Good critical thinking and organizational skills. \n
- Previous experience with computer systems and various software packages. \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; with the ability to relate well to patients and staff. \n
- Must be knowledgeable regarding standard precautions and environmental protections standards. \n
