Role Overview

\n
• Full-time, Monday-Friday
\n
• Hours 8-5
\n
• Provide psychiatric patient care to adults and adolescence in an inpatient setting
\n
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
\n
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders
\n
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
\n
• Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns
\n
• Provide interventions and behavioral management
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
\n
• Typical case load 14-16 patients/day
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Base salary plus productivity bonus, W2 position with full benefits (medical dental, vision, PTO, 401k)

• Paid after-hour call coverage (voluntary/by rotation)
\n
• Paid weekend coverage (voluntary/rotation)
\n
• Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage

Qualifications\n

\n
• Dual certification as a PMHNP and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (PNP-AC), or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-PCNP)
\n
• Active, unrestricted Tennessee Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
\n
• Active DEA or willingness to obtain
\n
• Minimum of 1-year experience as a NP in an inpatient setting
\n
