Responsibilities

  • Perform psychiatric evaluations and assessments
  • \n
  • Diagnose and treat behavioral health conditions
  • \n
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
  • \n
  • Order laboratory testing and appropriate referrals
  • \n
  • Monitor treatment response through ongoing follow-up visits
  • \n
  • Coordinate care with behavioral health providers and families
  • \n
  • Complete timely electronic documentation
  • \n
  • Participate in shared on-call coverage
  • \n
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and community health programs
  • \n

Qualifications

\n

Required

\n
    \n
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible to practice in Virginia
  • \n
  • Current DEA registration
  • \n
  • CPR Certification
  • \n
  • CAQ in Psychiatry (for Physician Assistants, as applicable)
  • \n
  • Credentialed for Medicare/Medicaid billing
  • \n
\n

Preferred

  • Board Certification
  • \n
  • Experience in outpatient psychiatry or behavioral health
  • \n
\n

This position is based in Danville, Virginia, with occasional travel to additional PATHS locations, including:
