Job Overview
Setting: 195-bed hospital, designated as a Level 3 Trauma center.
Start Dates: Positions available starting in May and continuing thereafter (please inquire for specific dates and shifts from May to July).
Patient Volume: Manage care for approximately 10-12 patients daily.
Job Details: Shifts are scheduled from 6 AM to 3 PM, with night on-call duties. Weekend coverage includes a 24-hour call from 6 AM to 6 AM. Responsibilities do not include heads or hearts, and there is no supervision; you will handle your own cases. All operating room procedures and C-sections are performed alongside a CRNA.
Required Procedures: Common procedures include Emergency C-Sections, Urgent Cystoscopies, and management of Acute Abdomen cases.
Client Requirements: Candidates must possess a California medical license or be eligible for reimbursement for IMLC licenses after completing 10 shifts. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology is required.
EMR System: Cerner.
