OBGYN Generalist - New Milford and Sharon Hospital, $75,000 in bonuses
Job Description
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is looking for an enthusiastic OBGYN Generalist to become part of our team at the New Milford and Sharon Hospital as we enhance Women's Health services throughout our organization.
This role is primarily a Generalist position that involves working in our outpatient clinic located in New Milford, along with participating in call shifts at Sharon Hospital in Connecticut. The call shifts will be distributed among four physicians and can be managed from home. A response time of 30 minutes or less to the hospital is required, and these shifts will include patient rounding.
About New Milford HospitalNew Milford Hospital is a community facility with 85 beds, proudly serving the residents of the greater Litchfield County area for nearly a century. Our modern Emergency Department spans 11,000 square feet and is designed with sustainability in mind, featuring all private patient rooms, specialized care areas, and an expanded triage desk. Additionally, we have recently opened a new Women's Health Center on the hospital grounds.
About Sharon HospitalSharon Hospital is a 78-bed general hospital situated in northwestern Connecticut. The Labor and Delivery unit handles a significant number of births each year. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of services, including bariatric surgery, cardiology, emergency care, neurosciences, orthopedics, stroke care, surgical services, and women's health services.
