Job Description
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Brake Press Setup/Operator is responsible for setting up and operating brake press and punch press equipment to form, bend, and punch a variety of metal components. This role is focused on producing high-quality parts efficiently while maintaining safety and production standards in a manufacturing environment. This position offers hands-on training and opportunities to expand technical skills in machine setup, tooling, and general fabrication processes. Physical Requirements Regular standing for extended periods Frequent use of hands for handling tools, parts, and equipment Ability to lift and/or move up to 40–45 lbs occasionally Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, or climbing Visual ability to inspect parts and maintain quality standards Ability to work in a manufacturing/production environment Work Environment Industrial manufacturing floor with exposure to machinery and metal components Fast-paced production environment with safety-first culture Training provided for equipment, tooling, and process development Opportunities to grow into more advanced setup or fabrication roles
