Relocation compensation is available for thosecandidates who do not live in the area today.

Overview:

The Managing Veterinarian partners with the HospitalManager to drive financial performance and general operations of the hospitaland to cultivate a supportive and collaborative team environment. You will besupported and mentored by the Divisional Leadership Team through practicemanagement training, reporting, and ongoing resources to lead a best-in-class clinicor hospital. The managing doctor will be responsible for:

• AdvancingMedical Care through establishing protocols, oversight, and quality of care.
\n
• LeadingStaff and Practice by providing mentorship and support.
\n
• FinancialResponsibilities to aid in the success of the practice.
\n
• Growingthe Practice through innovative change and services as well as community involvement.
\n

Skills and Basic Qualifications:

\n
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
\n
• Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Tennessee (prior to starting at the site).
\n
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
\n
• A desire to progress veterinary medicine based on industry-accepted research, medical protocol and equipment advancement, and evolving methodologies and treatments.
\n
• A passion for continuous learning.
\n
• Partners with Practice Manager on the medical and financial management of the practice ensuring best-in-class patient and client experiences while maximizing the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the site.
\n
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
\n
• Delegates tasks and achieves results with hospital team members.
\n
• Makes decisions confidently and effectively.
\n
• Leads employees by coaching, correcting, developing, and motivating them to achieve success.
\n
• Manages time and tasks appropriately.
\n
• Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients.
\n
