We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support students in a school-based setting. Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), the SLPA will assist in implementing therapy plans, documenting student progress, and helping students improve their communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement speech and language therapy activities as directed by the supervising SLP
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to support communication goals
  • Document student performance and progress accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist with preparing therapy materials and maintaining organized records
  • Support classroom integration of speech and language strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families as appropriate
  • Adhere to all district policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field
  • Valid SLPA license or certification in CO
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of speech and language disorders and therapy techniques
