Step into a rewarding contract role supporting student growth as an Occupational Therapist in a vibrant educational environment near Bellevue, WA. With three openings available, there are multiple opportunities to make a difference for elementary and middle school learners. The positions offer varied schedules, ranging from full-time to part-time, and span several months. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators, serve around 36 students, and provide crucial OT services to help them succeed academically and socially.

Current Openings & Schedules:

  • Full-time (1.0 FTE): 8/28 - 12/18
  • Part-time (0.6 FTE): 10/10 - 3/1
  • Part-time (0.6 FTE): 8/27 - 1/2

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Washington State
  • Experience delivering OT interventions in a school or pediatric setting
  • Strong understanding of IEP implementation and documentation
  • Ability to effectively manage a varied caseload of students across elementary and middle school levels
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ needs and provide therapy as outlined in IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to create tailored intervention plans
  • Maintain clear records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings
  • Support students with fine/gross motor skill development, sensory processing, and functional skills vital for in-school participation
  • Adapt materials and recommend classroom strategies to enhance student success
