Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in California
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in educational settings
  • Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based documentation
  • Adaptable, organized, and able to manage a diverse caseload

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students with physical needs
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy interventions to enhance students’ mobility and participation in school activities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational goals
  • Provide guidance and training to teachers, staff, and parents on strategies to promote student independence
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports as required by the school and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans
