Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in California
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in educational settings
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based documentation
- Adaptable, organized, and able to manage a diverse caseload
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students with physical needs
- Develop and implement tailored therapy interventions to enhance students’ mobility and participation in school activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational goals
- Provide guidance and training to teachers, staff, and parents on strategies to promote student independence
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports as required by the school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans
