School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Rillito, Arizona

Make a difference in the lives of high school students by providing speech-language services in a dynamic, full-time, itinerant position. This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with diverse students, supporting their communication and educational needs across multiple campuses.

As a school-based speech-language pathologist, you will primarily serve students at Mountain View High School, with a smaller caseload at two additional sites. The total caseload consists of approximately 60–70 students, presenting needs ranging from mild articulation issues to more complex profiles, including those in adaptive cluster programs and students with autism spectrum disorder.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Active state certification for school-based SLPs
• Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
• School-based experience, especially with moderate to severe disabilities, is highly desirable
• Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple sites

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for eligible students
• Work collaboratively with special education teams, teachers, and families to support student growth
• Deliver both direct and consultative services, tailoring approaches based on each student’s unique needs
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
