What You'll Do

  • Deliver high-quality preventive and periodontal care
  • \n
  • Educate patients on oral health and treatment recommendations
  • \n
  • Conduct patient assessments and health history reviews
  • \n
  • Take and interpret digital radiographs
  • \n
  • Collaborate with doctors and team members to support patient care
  • \n
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
  • \n
  • Build trusting relationships with patients and help create positive dental experiences
  • \n

Qualifications:

Required

\n
    \n
  • Current Iowa Dental Hygienist License
  • \n
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene (as required)
  • \n
  • Current CPR Certification
  • \n
  • Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and clinical documentation
  • \n
\n

Preferred

  • New graduates and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply

  • Experience with digital imaging, digital scanners, electronic health records, VELscope, and Diagnodent
  • \n
  • Commitment to clinical excellence and lifelong learning
  • \n
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • \n

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the role with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds as needed

  • Ability to attend periodic virtual or in-person training

  • Completion of pre-employment TB testing as required
