Join Our Team as an Orthopedic Hand/Upper Extremity Surgeon
We are looking for a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Hand/Upper Extremity Surgeon to become a part of our collaborative team in South Sacramento. Position Highlights- Team Composition: Following this recruitment, our team will consist of 9 surgeons, including 3 specializing in Hand/Shoulder/Elbow, 2 in Total Joint (hips/knees), 2 in Sports, and 2 in Trauma.
- Collaborative Model: You will work closely with 2 skilled Physician Assistants and dedicated Surgical Assistants.
- Surgical Focus: The primary focus will be on Upper Extremity procedures, both elective and non-elective, with a strong preference for expertise in hand, elbow, and shoulder surgeries.
- OR Time: The goal is to achieve 2 days of operating room time per week.
- Call Schedule: Approximately 1 in 9, with Level 2 community trauma responsibilities.
- Dedicated Trauma Room: Access to a trauma room staffed by Trauma Orthopedic Surgeons for cases that arise on call, to be addressed the following day or later.
- Supportive Infrastructure: We have robust systems for outpatient care and surgical coordination, along with exceptional surgical concierge services and excellent peri-operative and operating room staff.

- Board Certification or Eligibility
- Eligibility to obtain a California medical license or currently licensed to practice in California
