Our organization, located in Abingdon, VA, is actively looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician to become a part of our well-established and stable team. The successful candidate will join two other Hematology/Oncology Physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The APPs are responsible for managing infusion services and attending to acute and symptomatic patients under the direct supervision of the physician group. Our practice is supported by a large and diverse team, including:
- APPs
- Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Dietary staff
- Navigators
- Schedulers
- Pre-certification and financial teams
Our facility features a full-service infusion room and operates as a typical outpatient oncology practice. The pharmacy is managed by a hospital-based team, which includes an oncology-boarded pharmacist. Additionally, there is strong support from various specialists, including Radiation Oncology, Surgery, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Urology, OB/GYN, Pathology, and Radiology (including Interventional Radiology). We also have a strong primary care cohort with Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents training at our facility.
