We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a full-time or PRN position. The schedule includes options for Tuesday to Saturday or Monday to Friday. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

Our organization operates skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) that offer:
- Long-term care: Support for residents needing ongoing skilled assistance and compassionate daily care.
- Short-term rehabilitation: Services for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury.

The patient demographic may vary slightly by facility. As a therapy professional, you will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve functional improvements and enhance their quality of life in a supportive, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct rehabilitation care in physical therapy to patients referred by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
- Participate in community health initiatives and projects as needed.
- Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communications.
- Understand and adhere to the laws, regulations, and guidelines relevant to post-acute care facilities.
- Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrate competency in all areas, including patient rights, safety, and sanitation.
- Ensure confidentiality of all proprietary and sensitive information.
- Follow company policies, including those related to harassment and compliance.
- Exhibit integrity and professionalism by adhering to the organization's Code of Conduct and completing required compliance training.
- Follow physical therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising PT.
- Utilize therapy software accurately and effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients.
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language proficiently.
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT).
