Job Opportunity: Reproductive Endocrinologist

The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences is looking for a board eligible or certified reproductive endocrinologist. This role requires expertise in assisted reproduction and reproductive endocrinology. The selected candidate will become part of our active clinical program in REI/ART, primarily focusing on clinical responsibilities while also having the chance to engage in research activities. Strong clinical knowledge and technical proficiency are essential. Candidates must hold an MD or equivalent and be eligible for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license. H1B visa sponsorship is available.

Opportunity Highlights

• Join a team of 7 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers (APPs).
• Clinical duties will comprise approximately 80% of the role, with 20% dedicated to teaching and research.

About the Division and the Organization

Our division works closely with the Magee Women’s Research Institute (MWRI), which is recognized as one of the leading biomedical research institutions in the country. The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences is a prominent academic department within the School of Medicine, actively involved in clinical practice, research, and training.

The REI Division emphasizes research on fertility and hormonal conditions impacting fertility, providing patients with access to this expertise through various clinics. The Center for Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology (CFRE) is a comprehensive unit that integrates reproductive endocrinology, fertility preservation, reproductive urology, genetics, embryology, and andrology.

Additionally, the division houses the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Center and the Reproductive Late-Effects program, which focuses on long-term care following gonadotoxic therapy. All clinical programs within REI serve as a foundation for research and education, with a strong commitment to training future REI specialists through our fellowship program. Collaboration with the Center for Reproduction & Transplantation enhances our focus on fertility preservation, including clinical and translational research in gonadal tissue cryopreservation and transplantation.
