Position Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere. In this role, you will often act as the primary liaison between patients, their families, and healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in performance improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining professional competence
  • Mentoring and developing others
  • Upholding confidentiality, safety, and professional standards
  • Participating in Shared Governance through involvement in councils or sponsored activities
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited or approved nursing school
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications (required in select units/departments) must be obtained within six months of hire
  • Active Registered Nursing License in Georgia or a qualifying multi-state compact license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • National specialty certification relevant to the area of practice
