- Realize Your Potential as a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse
- Develop, implement, and assess individualized care plans for each patient.
- Supervise the care provided by nursing and other staff on the assigned unit/shift.
- Communicate and collaborate with various departments to ensure coordinated care.
- Document patient care and any changes in their condition, taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities when required and as assigned.
- Educate patients and caregivers about tests, procedures, treatments, and medications in clear terms.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, representing the nursing department and sharing observations.
- Implement emergency responses in crisis situations in the absence of senior management.
- Conduct at least two in-service training sessions annually.
- Engage in identifying and addressing training needs for nursing development.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license as mandated by state regulations.
- Current RN licensure in accordance with state laws.
- CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
- CRRN® certification is mandatory.
- Preferred two years of experience in an inpatient hospital environment.
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation is preferred.
