Physical Therapist - School Setting in Everett, WA
Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and development throughout the 2026 school year in a vibrant, collaborative educational setting. This role offers the chance to work closely with Pre-K through 12th grade students on a single campus, where you’ll play a crucial role in guiding physical therapy services across five schools—all conveniently located together.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate as a Physical Therapist (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Strong knowledge of current PT best practices and evidence-based interventions
- Preferred experience includes working with students with limited English proficiency, understanding of multicultural/interdisciplinary education, prior teaching or school-based PT work, and a valid Washington State driver’s license
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct individualized assessments to support students’ motor and physical development, contributing to IEPs and 504 plans
- Create and manage therapy schedules to deliver direct, indirect, and consultative PT services
- Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure students’ needs are met with comprehensive interventions and support
- Partner with teams across the campus to help students achieve their fullest physical potential within the educational environment
This contract position offers 16 hours per week with flexibility in scheduling to meet your needs, spanning the school year from September 2, 2026, through June 15, 2026.
