Special Education Teacher - Kingstree, South Carolina

Available Roles:

• Self-Contained / PRTF: Teach grades 6-12 in a structured, in-person classroom setting with 8-10 students, focusing on individualized learning goals and behavioral support strategies.
• Elementary Resource: Guide students in grades 3-5 (12-15 students) through targeted interventions and resource support, collaborating with colleagues to maximize student success.

Both roles are set to begin immediately and will continue through June 11, 2027, spanning 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• State certification in Special Education or eligibility for appropriate license.
• Previous experience in self-contained and/or resource room settings is valued.
• Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and educational teams.
• Commitment to cultivating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Proficiency in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Ability to adapt instruction for diverse learning needs.
