Seeking an experienced Night Pharmacist to support hospital pharmacy operations in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a community hospital environment, providing critical pharmaceutical care during overnight hours.

Location:

• Cottonwood, AZ

Schedule:

• 7 nights on, 7 nights off
• Shift hours: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth workflow and compliance
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide pharmaceutical consultation and optimize patient care
• Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing adjustments as necessary
• Utilize Cerner EMR to document and access patient medication records

Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Pharmacist license is required
• Proven experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting
• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy procedures, medication safety, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently during night shifts
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records system preferred
