Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students with individualized care and expertise. This role focuses on empowering students through innovative approaches, ensuring every learner has the chance to thrive in the school environment. The assignment runs from late August through mid-June, with work hours ranging from 35-37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student assessments to evaluate functional physical development and self-regulation skills, paving the way for student independence.
  • Design and implement targeted treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs and educational objectives.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure optimal student placement and progression.
  • Anticipate and address environmental or structural barriers, providing recommendations to guarantee accessibility throughout the learning environment.
  • Document interventions and progress, maintaining clear and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and families.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapy License (required).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Experience providing school-based occupational therapy services, especially within elementary settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, motivate, and inspire young learners.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
