Litigation Associate Attorney

Our client is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience to join their General Litigation team to handle sophisticated commercial disputes through all phases of litigation, including complex, high-profile matters.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage litigation matters through all phases, including pleadings, discovery, motions, mediation, trial preparation, and post-trial proceedings.

• Draft pleadings, dispositive and non-dispositive motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and discovery requests/responses.

• Conduct legal research, participate in depositions, prepare witnesses, and appear at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and case management conferences.

• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness outlines, expert coordination, and development of case strategy.

• Collaborate with partners, clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third parties to manage complex commercial litigation efficiently.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership in good standing.

• 4-7 years of complex commercial/general litigation experience.

• Strong experience drafting dispositive motions, discovery, pleadings, and legal memoranda.

• Deposition experience (taking and/or defending) preferred, with excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Strong communication, attention to detail, case management, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
