Your Responsibilities as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer, submitting a DOT inspection report detailing its condition.
  • Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and store keys during off-hour deliveries.
  • Safely operate the tractor-trailer to designated locations, utilizing your knowledge of commercial driving regulations and vehicle maneuvering skills.
  • Maintain a driver log (either Manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions.
  • Unload the trailer and deliver products to customer locations.
Qualifications for a CDL-A Teammate:
  • Possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
  • A minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of experience driving a tractor-trailer.
  • Must meet our organization's MVR and risk rating standards.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
